Which ONINCE AI Box Is Right for Your Harley? Z3 vs Z4 vs GT6
Aktie
If you ride a Harley-Davidson and you're deciding between the ONINCE Z3, Z4, and GT6, the main question is simple:
What do you actually want the box to do?
For some riders, wireless CarPlay or Android Auto is all they need. Others want faster performance, more media options, or a more independent Android setup with GPS and mobile data.
Here's how we look at the three models.

Quick Comparison
| Model | Best For | CarPlay / Android Auto | Local Media | Main Advantage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Z3 | Riders who want a simpler, lower-cost option | Wireless CarPlay + Wireless Android Auto | TF / microSD | Straightforward and affordable |
| Z4 | Most Harley riders | Wireless CarPlay + Wireless Android Auto + Wired Android Auto | USB drive | More performance and flexibility |
| GT6 | Riders who want a more independent Android experience | Full Android-based platform | Android apps | Qualcomm platform, GPS and mobile data |
Short answer: Z3 is the value option. Z4 is the model we recommend to most riders. GT6 is for riders who want a more independent Android platform.

Z3: Keep It Simple
The Z3 is for riders who mainly want wireless Apple CarPlay or wireless Android Auto without paying for features they may not use.
It also supports local music and video playback from a TF / microSD card, so you can keep media stored locally when you don't want to rely on streaming.
The Z3 uses simpler hardware than the Z4, but for navigation, music, calls and everyday CarPlay or Android Auto use, that's often all a rider needs.
Z3 makes sense if you:
- mainly want wireless CarPlay or Android Auto
- want to keep the cost down
- prefer a straightforward setup
- want local media playback from a TF / microSD card
For many riders, the Z3 simply does the job.
ONINCE currently positions the Z3 as the “Essential” Harley option, with wireless Android Auto and wireless CarPlay on compatible factory-CarPlay Harley systems.

Z4: The One We'd Recommend to Most Harley Riders
If you're not sure which model to choose, the Z4 is usually where we'd start.
It supports wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and wired Android Auto, and it has noticeably more headroom than the Z3 with 4GB DDR + 64GB Flash.
But the real reason to choose the Z4 isn't just the memory.
It gives you more ways to use the box:
- Wireless Apple CarPlay
- Wireless Android Auto
- Wired Android Auto
- Dual Wi-Fi
- Local music and video playback from a USB drive
- HDMI output
- YouTube playback in a small window while CarPlay or Android Auto remains on screen, for parked use
The Z4 is better suited to riders who want more than basic phone projection and expect to use the box more often.
ONINCE's current Z4 Harley page also positions it as the faster “Performance” model, with wired Android Auto support and 4GB RAM.

GT6: When You Want More Than CarPlay or Android Auto
The GT6 is a different kind of product. Before choosing it for a Harley-Davidson, contact us to confirm compatibility with your model, year and infotainment system.
Instead of thinking of it mainly as a CarPlay or Android Auto adapter, it makes more sense to think of it as a more independent Android platform for the motorcycle display.
The GT6 is built around a Qualcomm Snapdragon platform, runs Android 13, and uses an 8-core processor. ONINCE originally positioned the GT6 as its higher-end Snapdragon-based model.
It also adds:
- built-in GPS
- SIM/mobile network support (confirm the version and supported network bands with us)
- more independent Android app use
- navigation without relying entirely on your phone
- streaming and other Android apps directly on the display
That makes the GT6 interesting for riders who want the screen to behave more like a standalone Android device.
GT6 makes sense if you:
- want a Qualcomm-based Android platform
- want built-in GPS
- want SIM/mobile data
- want more freedom to run Android apps directly on the screen
- want a more advanced setup than standard CarPlay or Android Auto
For riders who mainly want reliable CarPlay or Android Auto, we'd still point them toward the Z4 first.
The GT6 is for someone who wants more.

Which One Should You Choose?
If your priority is price and simplicity, choose Z3.
If you want the best balance of performance and features, choose Z4.
If you want a more independent Android setup with GPS, mobile data and apps running directly on the display, look at GT6.
For most Harley riders, we'd start with the Z4.
Not because everyone needs every feature, but because it gives you more room if your needs change later.
One Harley-Specific Thing to Know Before You Buy
On compatible Harley-Davidson systems, CarPlay normally needs to be active before the ONINCE box can work correctly.
Depending on the bike and setup, this may require a connected Bluetooth headset or a compatible bypass solution.
If CarPlay is greyed out on the Harley display, check the headset / bypass connection first before troubleshooting the box.
ONINCE's Harley setup guide also instructs riders to activate the motorcycle's CarPlay environment before connecting the AI Box.

Still Not Sure?
Tell us:
- your Harley model
- model year
- whether your bike already has factory CarPlay
- whether you use iPhone or Android
- what you mainly want to do on the screen
